Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 22, 2026

Scope

This Privacy Policy explains, at a high level, how SecondLook may collect, use, store, process, and disclose information when you use SecondLook, including our iOS application, websites, and related services.

SecondLook is a consumer shopping-assistance and discovery service. Depending on the features available at a given time, SecondLook may allow users to capture or upload photos of clothing, outfits, or people wearing outfits, search for visually similar items, browse listings from third-party marketplaces or partners, save favorites, receive alerts, and access personalization or account features.

For the most current information about data associated with the app, you should also refer to the App Store listing, App Store privacy disclosures, purchase screens, permission prompts, device settings, and any supplemental notices provided in the product.

This Privacy Policy is intended to be broad enough to cover current operations and reasonable future changes in features, providers, analytics, account systems, alerts, personalization, advertising, affiliate relationships, and support workflows.

Information We May Handle

SecondLook may handle information you choose to provide directly, including uploaded or captured photos, screenshots, saved images, favorites, wishlists, support messages, survey responses, account information if accounts are offered, and other content or communications you send to us.

Submitted images may contain clothing, accessories, people, backgrounds, metadata associated with the image file if that metadata is present when submitted, and other visual information contained in the image.

Depending on the version of the service and the features you use, we may also handle device and app identifiers, subscription or purchase status, affiliate or attribution information, approximate location derived from network requests, IP address, crash data, diagnostics, usage analytics, support history, notification tokens, and information about taps, searches, saved items, viewed results, and outbound clicks.

Some information may be processed locally on your device, and some information may be transmitted to SecondLook or our service providers to support image search, similarity matching, result delivery, analytics, attribution, abuse prevention, advertising or sponsorship measurement, customer support, personalization, and subscription management.

How We May Use Information

SecondLook may use information to provide, maintain, operate, secure, improve, monitor, and troubleshoot the service and its features, including receiving your photos, analyzing visual characteristics, running similarity search, identifying and ranking related items, displaying results, linking to third-party listings, and measuring whether core search features are working as intended.

We may use information to authenticate users if accounts are offered, process subscriptions or other commercial features if introduced, manage entitlements, measure performance, detect bugs, diagnose crashes, prevent fraud or abuse, enforce limits, and communicate with users about updates, support issues, alerts, or transactional matters.

We may also use information to analyze usage trends, test product changes, evaluate result quality, improve reliability, support personalization, favorites, wishlists, alerts, attribution, advertising or sponsorship features, and comply with law, enforce our rights, investigate misuse, respond to legal requests, and protect SecondLook, our providers, users, and third parties.

Core Feature Processing

A core function of SecondLook is using user-submitted images to help identify visually similar clothing or outfit listings. To provide that functionality, we may receive, store, analyze, transform, compare, and route uploaded or captured images and related technical information through our systems and service providers.

By capturing, uploading, or submitting images through SecondLook, you direct and authorize us to use that content as reasonably necessary to provide the similarity-search, matching, ranking, linking, attribution, and related service functionality you request.

If you do not want us to process submitted images for those purposes, you should not use image-based search features.

Service Providers, Marketplaces, And External Links

SecondLook may use service providers and third-party services to help operate the app, including hosting, cloud-storage, content delivery, computer-vision or search infrastructure, analytics, diagnostics, customer-support, communications, attribution, advertising, sponsorship, anti-abuse, and security providers.

SecondLook may also integrate with, reference, or link to third-party marketplaces, merchant platforms, affiliate networks, attribution providers, advertising or sponsorship partners, and other external services that support result display, referral tracking, or outbound linking to listings.

The specific providers, partners, marketplaces, and external services we use may change over time. Their handling of information may depend on their own terms, privacy policies, and technical practices, which may also change over time.

Sharing And Disclosure

SecondLook may disclose information to vendors, marketplaces, partners, and service providers that help operate the app or support its business model, including infrastructure, analytics, diagnostics, attribution, advertising, sponsorship, security, customer-support, communications, and payment-related providers. We may also disclose information to Apple and related parties in connection with App Store purchases and platform operations.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to legal process, to investigate fraud or abuse, to enforce our rights, to protect users or the public, or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, asset sale, or similar business transaction.

We do not promise to share information only with the vendors or partners we currently use. Our provider and partner relationships may change over time, and this Privacy Policy is intended to cover reasonable future changes in vendors, marketplaces, monetization arrangements, and infrastructure.

Retention And Deletion

SecondLook may retain submitted images, logs, result data, favorites, attribution records, diagnostics, and related records for different periods depending on the feature used, whether temporary processing is required, whether account or history features are enabled, whether alerts or saved-item features are offered, and whether retention is needed for security, abuse prevention, debugging, legal compliance, attribution, analytics, or support.

In some cases, submitted content and related records may be stored only temporarily to complete search or linking workflows. In other cases, they may be retained for longer periods if the service offers persistent history, saved results, favorites, alerts, account recovery, or similar features.

Deletion requests may be supported through in-app tools, account settings, support channels, or other workflows that we make available. Even when deletion is requested or initiated, deletion from backups, caches, logs, and provider systems may not be immediate and may occur on a delayed or cyclical basis.

Choices And Controls

You may have choices through your device settings, camera and photo-library permission settings, App Store account settings, in-app prompts, and any account, marketing, privacy, or notification controls that we make available.

Depending on how SecondLook is configured at a given time, you may be able to manage permissions, uninstall the app, request deletion, cancel subscriptions through Apple, turn off notifications, decline optional communications, or contact support about privacy-related requests.

Some rights and choices may vary based on where you live and the laws that apply to you.

Third-Party Listings And Transactions

SecondLook does not directly complete purchases or control third-party marketplace transactions. If you click through to a third-party listing, that marketplace, merchant, seller, or platform may collect information from you under its own terms and privacy policy.

Information relating to purchases, returns, refunds, shipping, authentication, customer service, or disputes on third-party services is generally controlled by those third parties, not by SecondLook, unless we expressly state otherwise in a separate context.

International And Regional Considerations

SecondLook, our service providers, marketplaces, partners, and the platforms used to deliver the app may process information in multiple jurisdictions. By using the service, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in locations where privacy protections may differ from those in your home jurisdiction, subject to applicable legal requirements.

Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable privacy, consumer-protection, advertising, affiliate-disclosure, or platform-specific laws. Regional disclosures, notices, or rights supplements may apply where required.

Contact

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, deletion requests, privacy rights, or other data-handling concerns, you may contact SecondLook using the contact information provided in the app, on the App Store listing, or on the related website or support page.

Updates To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the product, our providers, our partners, our practices, legal obligations, or the markets in which we operate.

Your continued use of SecondLook after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you acknowledge the updated version, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
